General Anesthesiology Physician

Job Overview We are seeking a full‑time general anesthesiology physician to join the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care as faculty. The position begins ASAP and offers a base salary between $400,000 and $475,000, with additional incentives. Position Highlights and Qualifications Full‑time faculty qualify for full benefits and a competitive salary; entry‑level faculty may earn $475,000+ in base and incentives. Must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and be board‑eligible or certified in anesthesia. Must possess a California medical license or equivalent special permit issued (or a special permit application submitted) by the California Medical Board. Applicants must list pending qualifications upon submission. Applicants must have all requirements met by the time of hire. Candidates considered for appointment at the assistant rank and above must have fellowship training or have equivalent advanced training and/or experience beyond anesthesia residency training.
