We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Registered Nurse to join our float team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your experience and make a significant impact on patient care! Key Details: - Start Date: 10/19 - Assignment Length: 16-26 weeks - Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday with no block schedules - Orientation: Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; next available is 11/02 Responsibilities: - Float between units as needed, providing high-quality nursing care - Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unit needs and ensure optimal patient care - Work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve Requirements: - Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS certification needed before start - Experience: Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - Skills: Proficient in managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care - Technology: Epic experience from the last 2 years is mandatory - Licensing: Valid NY license or proof of application required at submission Additional Information: - Public transportation is NOT accessible, so reliable personal or rental vehicle is essential - Ensure your vehicle is equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
