Production Engineer Intern

Job Summary Join Baltimore Fabrication, an Affiliate of SteelFab Inc., as a Production Engineer Intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of production management. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with our Production and Project Management teams on a variety of high-impact projects. You'll be at the forefront of the industry, honing your skills and gaining invaluable experience through hands‑on involvement in essential tasks, including: Key Responsibilities Collaboration : Engage with the project manager department to gather project information for upcoming fabrication. Drawing Analysis : Review and analyze drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications and internal processes. Material and Labor Take-Offs : Utilize company software to perform detailed material and labor take-offs. Scheduling : Assist in schedule coordination and development with plant managers and project managers. Fabrication Coordination : Assist in coordinating fabrication drawings and reports as well as work performed in the shop. Field Issue Resolution : Work with onsite subcontractors to identify and resolve field issues. Fabrication Shop Experience : Gain hands‑on experience with the fabrication flow and production processes, deepening your understanding of the entire construction lifecycle.
