Salary Range:

Starting at $21/Hour (Per Diem)

Reports To:

Mental Health Professional (LCP, LMHC, LCSW)

 

Summary

Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and provide mental health service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis.

 

Major Job Duties

• Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.

• Develop and implement care plans.

• Participate in training and supervision as assigned and required.

• Documents client progress and properly maintains client records.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.

• All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.

• At least five (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment.

• A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

• Great observational skills to assess behavioral changes.

• Physical abilities (e.g. ability to walk stairs, lift up to 40lbs)
