Juvenile Justice Oversight Director

Job Summary:

The Juvenile Justice Oversight Director is responsible for leading independent monitoring, investigations, and reporting for youth facilities and services. The role aims to enhance safety, compliance, accountability, and access to services through objective oversight and actionable recommendations. Responsibilities:

• Conduct facility visits and operational assessments.
• Investigate complaints and sensitive issues.
• Monitor compliance and corrective actions.
• Identify systemic concerns and recommend improvements.
• Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Degree in juvenile justice, social work, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of juvenile justice policies and legislation.
• Experience in facility assessments, investigations, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, analysis, and confidentiality management skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in oversight, compliance, youth services, criminal justice, or case management.
• Advanced degree or related credentials preferred.

• Role involves handling sensitive and confidential information.

Scheduling:

• Duration: 10 months.
