NOW HIRING: GENERAL MANAGER

Multi-Location Laundry Operations | Bronx & Queens, NY

Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week
Work Arrangement: Primarily On-Site Initially, With Potential for Increased Remote Flexibility

We are seeking a bilingual, hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple laundromat locations throughout the Bronx and Queens.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, and proactive leader with experience managing employees, coordinating schedules, and maintaining smooth operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple laundromat locations.
• Supervise laundry attendants, porters, and support staff.
• Manage employee schedules, attendance, shift coverage, and performance.
• Ensure adequate staffing for shift changes at 6:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 10:00 PM .
• Remain accessible by phone or computer to address staffing emergencies and operational concerns outside regular working hours.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee needs and operational issues.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
• Order supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Visit multiple store locations throughout the week to monitor operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints and employee concerns professionally.
• Communicate directly with company owners regarding operations, staffing, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and consistency across locations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency required.
• Previous management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in laundromats, laundry services, retail, housekeeping, hospitality, or similar service environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations, competing priorities, and staffing challenges.
• Comfortable communicating directly with business owners and senior leadership.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel between locations throughout the Bronx and Queens.
• Must be accessible during shift transitions and able to respond promptly to urgent operational needs.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to take a hands-on approach.
