Quality of Earnings Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality of Earnings Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to lead Quality of Earnings engagements within a growing financial advisory platform.
You will manage buy-side and sell-side transaction projects, overseeing teams and ensuring rigorous, decision-ready financial analysis.
The role combines technical accounting and financial diligence expertise with project leadership and client relationship management.
You will evaluate earnings quality, normalize revenue and EBITDA, assess working capital, and identify trends and financial risks.
As a key client contact, you will communicate findings, guide discussions, and help stakeholders navigate complex transactions.
The position also offers opportunities to contribute to business development, industry visibility, and the growth of the QofE practice.
While remote, candidates near the Dallas/Fort Worth area are strongly preferred to support collaboration and continued team growth.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and oversee Quality of Earnings engagements, including revenue and EBITDA normalization, working capital assessments, financial trend analysis, and evaluation of earnings sustainability.
• Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction projects from planning through completion, coordinating teams, timelines, deliverables, and information flow.
• Supervise analyses of historical financial statements and investigate unusual, non-recurring, or otherwise significant items affecting financial performance.
• Review and guide the preparation of detailed financial reports, diligence analyses, and client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Act as a primary client contact throughout engagements, communicating findings clearly and leading client discussions across the project and transaction lifecycle.
• Step into detailed analytical work on complex transactions or during periods of high team demand when additional technical capacity is required.
• Participate in business development initiatives, industry events, and market-facing activities while contributing expertise and knowledge to strengthen the practice.
• Hire, coach, develop, and performance-manage Associates, supporting their professional growth and progression within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in public accounting, with audit or transaction advisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated, direct experience delivering Quality of Earnings analyses is required.
• Proven ability to project-manage transaction teams and serve as a trusted first point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial evaluation skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong expertise in Excel and financial modeling.
• Curiosity and fluency with automated intelligence and emerging technology applications in financial advisory work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial findings clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven transaction environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues and clients.
