Tax Senior Associate

Description Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join our team. This role is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to continue building their public accounting career while gaining exposure to tax compliance, planning, and consulting work. As a Tax Senior Associate at Aldrich, you will work closely with clients, managers, and partners to prepare and review tax returns, support client deliverables, and contribute to timely, high-quality service. Check out more about Aldrich at Requirements 3+ years of recent public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax or business consulting Experience preparing tax returns and supporting client deliverables Ability to mentor others and review work product Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field from an accredited college or university Successful completion of the CPA exam, licensed CPA, JD, or EA preferred You’ll Get a Chance To Prepare income tax returns, including consolidated and multi-state tax returns Assist with tax return review and client deliverables Develop relationships with client personnel responsible for tax matters Support tax planning, consulting, and client service needs Provide effective project management and communicate status updates clearly Use current technology and tools to enhance deliverables Build technical competence by staying up to date on tax trends, developments, and technical authorities Mentor associates and review work product as appropriate How We’ll Reward You At Aldrich, we know a great client experience starts with an exceptional employee experience. At Aldrich, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate. The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. Aldrich also ensures internal equity in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $105,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals. Candidates should be able to work from the Lake Oswego office 3 days per week and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
