Respite Network Manager
ROME GROUP
Respite Network Manager Organization Overview At Memory Care Home Solutions, we believe families shouldn’t face dementia alone. As a nonprofit organization grounded in compassion and powered by evidence-based care, we equip families with the tools, strategies, and emotional support they need to help loved ones with dementia live safely and meaningfully at home. MCHS was founded to fill a critical gap in providing personalized, home-based services that support both the person living with dementia and their care partners. Today, our mission-driven team includes staff, board members, volunteers, and donors who often have their own personal stories of dementia caregiving. That shared commitment creates a deeply connected, collaborative culture. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Position Overview The Respite Network Manager is instrumental in expanding and strengthening the network of respite services that help individuals living with dementia remain safely supported while providing family caregivers with meaningful opportunities to rest and recharge. By fostering strong community partnerships and building a robust network of dementia-capable respite providers, this role helps advance Memory Care Home Solutions’ commitment to improving the quality of life for both caregivers and those they support. As the organization’s lead for respite network development, the Respite Network Manager oversees the growth, coordination, and continuous improvement of respite services and provider partnerships. This includes cultivating relationships with respite providers, supporting GUIDE respite implementation, connecting MCHS clients with appropriate respite resources, and identifying new opportunities to expand access through strategic partnerships, workforce development, and statewide collaboration. Collaborating with the Director of Programs and community stakeholders, this position helps ensure respite services remain accessible, responsive, and centered on the evolving needs of caregivers. This role is well suited for a strategic, relationship-focused professional who enjoys building partnerships, leading collaborative initiatives, and creating sustainable systems that strengthen communities. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Respite Network Manager plays a key role in expanding MCHS’s Dementia Capable Respite Network and advancing the organization’s vision of becoming the regional and national leader in dementia care, education, and caregiver support. Key Performance Objectives and Responsibilities Respite Operations & Care Coordination – 35% Support Dementia Navigators in identifying appropriate respite options and resolving access barriers. Recruit, onboard, contract with, and maintain relationships with respite providers, including home care agencies, adult day programs, and residential providers. Identify service gaps and develop strategies to improve equitable access to respite, particularly in underserved communities. Collaborate with the Education Manager to support dementia education and training for network providers. Quality Improvement & Evaluation – 20% Monitor network performance, caregiver utilization, provider quality, and access across respite programs. Engage people living with dementia, family caregivers, and community partners through advisory boards and other feedback opportunities to ensure lived experience shapes respite program design, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Analyze data and prepare reports that support grant requirements, GUIDE operations, organizational quality improvement, and strategic planning. Recommend improvements that strengthen respite services and enhance the caregiver experience. Community Collaboration & Outreach – 20% Represent MCHS in statewide respite, aging, and dementia initiatives. Build collaborative relationships with healthcare systems, Area Agencies on Aging, community organizations, and other strategic partners. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using databases or electronic record systems. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Missouri and Illinois as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with people living with dementia, family caregivers, respite services, or older adults.
