Laboratory Technician 3 – Role Overview As a Laboratory Technician 3 in our Clinical Research team, you will support the production of reagents and calibrators for clinical analyzers and help maintain the highest quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Formulation and testing of reagents and calibrators on clinical analyzers. Follow manufacturing work instructions and area procedures. Accurately document production steps in batch records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Comply with quality systems and regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, ISO, OSHA, etc.). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Technical Operations, R&D, and Planning. Partner with support personnel to troubleshoot formulation processes. Operate manufacturing and laboratory equipment. Work independently and as part of a team. Identify routine issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Seek guidance for non‑routine or complex issues. Preferred Experience & Skills Reagent formulation and troubleshooting. Experience with Atellica analyzer platforms or similar instrumentation. Production or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance practices. Proficiency with SAP, Documentum, and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). General laboratory practices and chemical handling. Additional Candidate Expectations Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solid work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Required Qualifications Associate degree with 1‑2 years of laboratory experience OR Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related discipline. Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques, including: Preparing formulations following work instructions. Pipetting. Use of analytical balance. Operating clinical analyzers. Pay Range $68,720 – $94,490 (starting pay may vary by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications).
