Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Senior Construction Associate to join its National Construction Practice in Miami.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level associate with substantial experience in real estate development and construction-related transactions. The role offers direct client contact and the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value development projects for clients across a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to real estate development
- Advise clients on construction, design, and development agreements
- Support large-scale real estate and construction projects from inception through completion
- Work directly with clients and manage ongoing transactional needs
- Collaborate with internal teams on complex development matters
- Provide high-quality legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation support
- Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development transactions
- Experience with construction, design, or development contracts preferred (not required)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials required
- Comfortable working directly with clients and in team-based environments
- Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
- Spanish fluency is a plus , but not required
