About This Role The RN Hospital Float Pool position involves providing nursing care across various departments including Med/Surg, Emergency Department, and Perioperative settings. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and can deliver high-quality patient care. Highlights Pay: $44 - $81/hour Location: Seattle, WA Facility: Kaiser Permanente Schedule: Full Time What You'll Do Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients. Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs. Assist patients and families in developing health care goals. Determine priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources. Provide nursing interventions safely and competently. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care and interventions. Assess needs of patients requiring hospitalization and initiate discharge planning. Identify patients' educational needs and develop educational components for care plans. Promote patient self-care responsibility and adherence to health regimens. Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.
