Built on generations of craftsmanship, technical expertise, and a strong customer‑first philosophy, Maffey's Security Group is committed to protecting people, property, and assets.Job DetailsMaffey's is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Consultant for our location in Elizabeth, NJ to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the commercial security and low-voltage market. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, a strong understanding of security systems and low-voltage infrastructure, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.Job DutiesIdentify and prospect new business opportunities within commercial markets.Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, property managers, contractors, and decision-makers.Conduct on-site consultations to assess security and low voltage needs, offering customized solutions.Sell a range of security and low-voltage solutions, including:Access Control Systems (card readers, biometric access, key fob systems, cloud-based access control)CCTV & Video Surveillance (IP cameras, video management software, remote monitoring solutions, AI-based analytics)Burglar & Intrusion Alarm Systems (motion detectors, glass break sensors, perimeter security, alarm monitoring services)Fire Alarm Systems (fire detection, notification devices, monitoring, NFPA compliance solutions)Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.Work closely with the project and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.Qualifications5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in commercial security, low-voltage, or technology solutions.Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, CCTV, Cloud and On-Premise solutions and alarm systems.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-motivated and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.CompensationCompetitive base salary (negotiable depending on candidate experience)Monthly commissionsVehicle allowanceCell phone reimbursementBenefits401K with a company matchMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Short Term DisabilityCompany paid Long Term DisabilityCompany paid Life and AD&D insurancePre-tax accounts for health and dependent careAflacVacation and Personal timePaid holidaysTuition reimbursement*Maffey 's Security Group is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and prohibits employment discrimination for employees and applicants based on his or her age, race, color, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, marital status, citizenship, or because he or she is an individual with a disability, protected veteran or other status protected by federal, state, and local laws.This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.
