Group Summary: The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets. Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world. Job Responsibilities: Analyzes customer’s needs for automated information. Writes code to meet customer’s needs. Provides direction to outside programmers / software suppliers. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers. Participates in evaluation of new ‘business’ related software. Manages upgrades to existing software programs. Maintains an acceptable attendance record. Participates in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as the need arises. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Participates in department meetings. Completes documentation of activities as required. Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas. Required: Programming experience in a professional setting Preferred: Experience with the following: Visual Basic, Progress, Windows XP/7, Lotus Notes. Preferred: Experience leading to knowledge of manufacturing systems. Preferred: Experience with wireless devices (scanners, printers, etc.). Must have good problem solving skills. Must have good math skills. Must have excellent computer skills. Must work well with others. Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a high tolerance for stressful situations. Must have strong understanding of business systems. Required: B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or equivalent Benefits: Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 Customizable Insurance Plans starting at 30 days.
