Cardiac ICU RN

Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36/week
Weekends: Every other weekend
Unit: 12-bed Cardiac ICU
EHR: Meditech
Requirements: ADN, 2+ years experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience: Cardiac ICU experience, rhythm interpretation, bedside procedure assistance, drips, and vents
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
Ratios: 2:1 up to 4:1 depending on acuity and stepdown/progressive status
Equipment: Vents, Swans, balloon pumps, arterial lines, and CRRT
Common Diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, PE, cardiogenic shock, and post-cath patients
Float: May float to other areas based on census
Call: No additional call requirements
