Nurse (Educator)

Registered Nurse

Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates staff education and training programs for clinical and non-clinical personnel, including new employee orientation, mandatory training, competency assessments, and continuing education.

Manages the Nurse Education Program, including nursing orientation, competency validation, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, point-of-care testing, and other clinical education and in-service programs.

Conducts educational needs assessments and develops training materials, lesson plans, instructional programs, evaluation tools, and educational objectives based on identified staff needs and regulatory requirements.

Maintains and monitors employee training, certification, and licensure records, prepares training reports, tracks mandatory training requirements, and supports organizational readiness for accreditation and regulatory reviews.

Coordinates student, volunteer, recruitment, and retention programs, including internships and preceptorships, orientation, affiliation agreements, recruitment activities, interviews, site visits, and collaboration with colleges, universities, and other healthcare organizations.
