Title: Logistics Specialist I Location: Vandalia, OH (Onsite) Pay Rate: $24.18 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Duration: Contract (12 months+) Summary: Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist I to join our client's team in Vandalia, Ohio. Our client is a prominent firm within the aerospace and defense industry. This is a full-time, contract role offering the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge logistics and supply chain systems in a mission-critical environment. Description Assist with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, and materials. Support the routing, documenting, and coordinating of shipping logistics. Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation in storage facilities. Learn and apply applicable state, federal, and global regulations, including import/export requirements. Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and accurate supply chain operations. Operate a forklift and handle heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent; a higher degree may substitute for experience. 1+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant logistics, inventory, or supply chain field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with inventory databases and shipping databases (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS). Familiarity with inventory and supply chain/logistics principles and techniques. Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Strong attention to detail.
