Sunset Care Homes is a group of three private residential care homes near Witchduck, Great Neck and Haygood in VIRGINIA BEACH dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and caring environment for seniors. Our compassionate team offers an alternative to traditional nursing homes and assisted living, focusing on adding value to our residents lives in a home-like setting.

Sunset Care Homes LLC is searching for three immediate F ULL TIME or PART TIME hires for the 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a shifts and with alternating weekend shifts required for experienced Certified Nurse Aides. Nursing home or residential care home experience preferred. Our shifts are in Virginia Beach in a small home setting with a limited number of residents. At least one aide is in the house 24/7 to care for all needs.

Summary

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support the nursing staff with basic patient care tasks.
Monitor residents health status and report any changes.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Document care provided accurately and timely.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nurse Aide or similar role in senior or healthcare settings.
Knowledge of geriatrics and post-acute care practices.
Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Certification as a Nurse Aide required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
