Dental Patient Coordinator

Responsibilities
Appointment coordination for doctors and hygienists with an emphasis on productive booking
Treatment planning, consulting, and case presentation, including continuity and follow-up
A strong grasp of general dental procedures and coding
Efficiently manage accounts receivable, including collections at time of service and balance billing, and closely monitor and reconcile insurance and patient aging reports
Dental Assisting when needed
Ability to coordinate insurance benefits and effectively calculate treatment estimates
Patient communication, treatment coordination, insurance verification, and unscheduled treatment follow-up
Ability to take radiographs, take and pour impressions and intraoral scanning (iTero)
Maintaining Sterilization when needed and help with room turn over in between patients
Ensure HIPAA & OSHA compliance within the practice

Requirements: Qualifications

Understanding of dental insurance and proficient scheduling
Ability to assess challenges and make astute suggestions to produce positive growth
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to do basic chairside dental assisting tasks

Compensation
$22 - $27 hourly BOE
