Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echocardiography (Ultrasound/Echo) professional for a position based in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves performing vascular ultrasound procedures, including the assessment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), carotid, and brachial diagnoses. The schedule consists of a 7/70 rotation, with shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday through Tuesday, working a total of 70 hours bi-weekly.

Job Details:

• Location: Tacoma, Washington
• Schedule: Wednesday through Tuesday; 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; 70 hours bi-weekly; weekend rotation of 7 ten-hour shifts; no on-call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: RVT certification, BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience in vascular ultrasound. Candidates with no prior travel experience are encouraged to apply.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic and Allscripts software; comfort with Philips Iu22 equipment; ability to manage workflows for outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient settings; responsible for patient transport and coordinating follow-up appointments.
• Support within the Department: Assistance available from key modality leads, department managers accessible by phone and onsite, and a house supervisor on weekends.
• Technology/Equipment: Epic and Allscripts Electronic Medical Record systems; Philips Iu22 ultrasound equipment.
• Orientation and Onboarding: 1-2 days of unit-specific onboarding; coordination with vascular technologist staff.
• Additional Notes: The unit features a small, closely connected team with a positive environment; scrubs are not specified; parking is available free of charge; shift times are from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday through Tuesday.
