Job Summary:
The surgical technician specializing in operating room procedures is needed in Denver, Colorado. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a busy acute care setting with a focus on ortho trauma, neuro, spine, plastics, ENT, and urology cases. The position offers a night shift schedule, with flexibility in self-scheduling and rotating shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., generally scheduled Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday, with minimal to no call. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics, trauma cases, and charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have a current license to submit application.
  • The role is within a Level 1 trauma care setting.
  • Orientation includes 2 days of unit-specific training.
  • The hospital allows up to 4 shift cancellations during a 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
  • Charting system utilized is EPIC.
  • Scrub color code: blue surgical scrubs, provided by the facility.
