Job Summary:
The Baltimore, Maryland-based Wound Care and Ostomy Nurse position requires licensed registered nurses (RNs) with BLS certification and wound ostomy continence certification (WOCN). This role involves assessing, treating, and managing complex wounds, ostomies, and related skin conditions in an inpatient, acute care setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, wound ostomy continence certification (WOCN), at least 2 years of current experienced wound care and ostomy nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel assignments (1-2), familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have all types of surgical and traumatic wounds experience, including ostomy care. The clinician should be skilled in wound assessment, treatment planning, wound vac management, and patient education. Previous employment in any capacity for any healthcare facility within the organization must be noted in the work history for verification of rehire status. Candidates who have previously worked as staff, PRN, or travel must be absent for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
