PetPartners, Inc. is seeking an Operations Implementation Specialist who will report to the Manager, Operations Business Processes. Role Overview The Operations Implementation Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining file feeds, reviewing enrollment data for accuracy, and ensuring smooth file transfers through secure systems. The role requires a detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy candidate with hands‑on experience using file encryption tools and file transfer platforms. Responsibilities Partner with Benefits Administrators to establish and maintain eligibility and enrollment file feeds between external systems and our platform. Review incoming enrollment files for accuracy, completeness, and format compliance based on EDI specifications and business rules. Manage file uploads from our SFTP connector to the internal Pet Portal platform, ensuring timely and secure delivery. Use Kleopatra for file encryption/decryption and FileZilla for secure FTP file transfers. Log, track, and manage integration‑related tasks and issues using Jira, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve data or connection issues. Maintain thorough documentation of file feed specifications, mapping, and transmission schedules. Ensure adherence to data security and privacy standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of relevant experience including: Solid understanding of EDI file formats and specifications (particularly CSV). Proficiency with SFTP tools and file encryption processes (Kleopatra, FileZilla). Familiarity with ticketing/project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. Experience with benefits platforms such as bswift, ADP, Workday, or similar. High attention to detail with the ability to detect data anomalies and troubleshoot file issues. Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with technical and non‑technical partners. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and collaboration skills and comfort working cross‑functionally. Knowledge of data handling best practices. Prior exposure to pet benefits or pet wellness platforms is a plus but not required.
