Description

• Administer personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals - including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians - to formulate integrated care strategies.
• Extend patient and family education to facilitate progress and development outside of the clinical environment.
• Occasionally partake in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a continuous care journey for your patients.
• Keep meticulous and timely records that comply with all relevant documentation regulations.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
