Diesel MechanicReports To: Maintenance ManagerAs a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic at Ecowaste Solutions, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. Your responsibilities will include completing work orders with proper coding such as reason for repair, detailed description of condition, cause, and correction, as well as properly completing the warranty process. Safety, accuracy and attention to detail are critical in these roles.As part of Ecowaste Solutions' application process, and to be considered for any position at Ecowaste Solutions, please complete the Culture Index Survey (CI) along with your application. Once we receive your completed CI Survey, your application will then be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds fleet equipment components correctly.Informs management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices, and suggests corrective actions.Identifies and informs management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and takes steps to solve issue if possible.Correctly completes complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.Maintains a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.Performed additional duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Valid state issued CDL driver's license preferredExperience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with specialty in Diesel.Experience in advanced diagnostics.Pay & Benefits:We like it so we provide weekly pay!Multiple Health Plans to choose fromDentalVisionWe Pay for your basic Life Insurance!Retirement Plan with a company match up to 5%Safety and Retention Incentives!Paid Time OffAccess to employee discount through LifeMart!Ecowaste Solutions offers a competitive base salary, opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
