Computed Tomography Technologist Full Time

CT Technologist Position

We're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role at a hospital in Quincy, CA. The CT Technologist will perform quality CT scans and radiographs, follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, operate CT imaging equipment, and provide coverage for standby, after-hours, weekend, and holiday callback. Responsibilities may include protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and assisting with insurance-related issues. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaborate with the imaging team. Weekend availability is required. Scheduling options are available to meet weekend coverage needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• AS degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ARRT registry.
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform quality radiography and CT imaging independently.
• Willingness to work standby, after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Newly graduated technologists will be trained in CT and/or mammography. Passing the CT and/or Mammography registry is required within one year (two years if performing both modalities).
• Experience with protocolling, scheduling, and basic patient/insurance communications is preferred.
