Step into a vital role providing school nursing coverage for students in grades K-12. This full-time contract opportunity begins August 17, 2026, and runs through June 18, 2026, offering 40 hours each week from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. As a floater nurse, you’ll commute between multiple nearby campuses—no site is further than six miles—to ensure comprehensive health support where it’s most needed.

Ideal candidates bring both adaptability and compassion, thriving in a fast-paced school setting. RN and LPN applicants are welcomed, as long as they hold an active Massachusetts license.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Massachusetts RN or LPN license
• Proven experience in a school-based nursing role
• Reliable transportation and comfort with inter-campus travel
• Commitment to maintaining the set full-time weekday schedule (no schedule accommodations can be offered)
• Comfortable serving students across K-12 grade levels
• Willingness to complete the CORI and fingerprinting requirements before onboarding
• Tech-savvy enough for a virtual interview via Zoom

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct, age-appropriate nursing care to students
• Administering medications and managing chronic health conditions
• Responding effectively to health emergencies and injuries during school hours
• Conducting routine health screenings and documenting care accurately
• Collaborating with administrators, teachers, and family members to support student wellness
• Rotating between campuses to fill in for school-site nurses as assigned
