About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic and execution-oriented Head of Crisis and Incident Management to lead its enterprise-wide program. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, sustaining, and enhancing crisis capabilities through an all-hazards approach, overseeing a centralized team, and driving program strategy and execution. This role demands a strong leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels, engage with senior executives, and ensure organizational readiness and response coordination during high-impact events. The Head of Crisis and Incident Management will also be accountable for maintaining the crisis management plan, designing and delivering simulations, and integrating lessons learned into future plans. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree in a related field preferred, and at least 12 years of experience in crisis management, continuity, incident response, or enterprise risk within large organizations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all-hazards crisis planning, operational resilience, and experience in a regulated industry. Strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI platforms, as well as the ability to respond to crisis events at short notice. Preferred certifications include CBCP, CEM, or similar, and ICS/NIMS training with FEMA EMI certifications.
