Experience: 1-3 years’ experience cooking in a large institutional or healthcare/hospital kitchen setting. Psychiatric health care facility experience preferred. Certification Requirements: Food Handlers Permit / ServSafe certificate required. Additional Competencies: Knife Skills: Proficiency in chopping, slicing, dicing, and mincing ingredients efficiently and safely. Cooking Techniques: Mastery of various methods such as sautéing, boiling, grilling, roasting, and braising. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage kitchen operations effectively under pressure. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow specific dietary requirements and recipes accurately. Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Adaptability: Flexible to cater to changing menus and dietary needs of patients. Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to patients, staff, and guests.
