Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Preoperative) travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,123–$2,218 per week. Shift 5x8 Rotating. Hospital setting requiring perioperative nursing care and collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for preoperative patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, prepare for anesthesia, and ensure patient safety and comfort before procedures.
- Coordinate care with the surgical team and other disciplines; utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in planning and execution.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per physician orders.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff as appropriate to the unit and patient needs.
- Document care thoroughly and accurately; maintain clear communication with all members of the perioperative team.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience in perioperative or operating room nursing is preferred.
- Ability to work in a surgical environment with rotating schedule.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks as part of onboarding.
