Title
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule
- Weekends: Work every other weekend; weekend coverage required.
- Holidays: Must be willing to work holidays as needed; candidates may be required to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Schedule posted every ~6 weeks.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience.
- Prefer 5+ years high-risk OB experience; candidates with 3+ years considered if high-risk experience documented.
- At least 2 years in high-acuity, high-pace environment required.
- Must have current supervisory references and 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Must pass clinical review.
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP.
- Preferred certifications: ACLS; AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced.
- Experience with Epic electronic fetal monitoring.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery setting, supporting both mother and baby populations.
- Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery and ongoing newborn care until transfer to postpartum.
- Circulate for C-sections and assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries.
- Manage patient care for common diagnoses, including high-risk antepartum, postpartum hemorrhage, and multiple births.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support.
- Conduct electronic fetal heart rate interpretation and manage medication drips as required.

Compliance / Notes
- Submission requirements include proof of current required certifications, current Nursys verification, and references.
- Candidates must have an active compact license at the time of submission.
- RTO requests must be submitted up-front.
- Only one submission at a time is allowed; direct contact with the facility is prohibited unless arranged by recruitment staff.
