Accounting Specialist

Providing critical accounting system and operational support, the full-time remote Accounting Specialist will analyze transactions, resolve complex processing issues, and ensure the accuracy of general ledger activity while collaborating with internal stakeholders and Managed Service Providers. Key responsibilities Conduct analysis to resolve business and processing issues, providing problem-solving support to internal stakeholders Ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls and SOX Monitor Managed Service Provider activity to ensure accurate and timely journal entries to the general ledger Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 1 - 3+ years of experience in accounting directly aligned with the specific responsibilities of this position Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.) Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients
