• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique challenges and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness strategies, to foster positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educators, school psychologists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed on the latest research and developments in social work and mental health.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing various challenges such as academic stress, social anxiety, trauma, and family issues. You will work directly with students to support their emotional and psychological needs, facilitating both one-on-one and group therapy sessions that promote resilience and self-advocacy.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required for this role.
• Possession of an active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in Connecticut is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients, family members, and colleagues.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on client welfare and progress.

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for documentation and client management.
