Are you an experienced Human Resources leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced operational environments? Do you excel at balancing employee relations, labor relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and business partnership while supporting multiple locations?
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Regional People Manager to serve as a strategic HR partner supporting multiple operational locations while acting as the critical link between field operations and Corporate Human Resources.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being visible, influential, and hands-on while helping leaders build strong teams, navigate employee relations challenges, and create a positive workplace culture.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of People with a dotted-line relationship to operational leadership, the Regional People Manager serves as the primary HR resource for assigned locations, ensuring compliance, consistency, employee engagement, and effective execution of all human resources programs and initiatives.
This role requires a confident HR professional who can influence leaders, support employees, manage labor relations, and drive organizational effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
Strategic Human Resources Leadership
- Serve as the primary HR business partner for assigned operational locations
- Provide guidance and counsel to management regarding employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Support organizational initiatives and drive consistency in HR practices across locations
- Partner closely with operations leadership to align people strategies with business objectives
Labor & Employee Relations
- Manage labor relations activities and provide expert guidance on union-related matters
- Investigate employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues
- Represent the organization during hearings, investigations, and governmental inquiries
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor agreements, and company policies
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build talent pipelines
- Coordinate interviews, evaluate candidates, and support hiring decisions
- Assist with workforce planning and succession management initiatives
HR Administration & Compliance
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Maintain personnel records and ensure accurate HR reporting
- Coordinate internal HR audits and compliance reviews
- Assist with year-end HR reporting and reconciliation processes
Payroll, Benefits & Employee Support
- Partner with Corporate HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to support local administration
- Assist with payroll processes and issue resolution
- Coordinate benefits enrollment meetings and employee communications
- Support workers' compensation administration, safety initiatives, and claims management
Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Support performance review processes and leadership development initiatives
- Assist with job description development and organizational structure planning
- Coach managers on employee development, engagement, and retention strategies
Required Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of Human Resources management experience
- Currently serving in an HR Manager, Regional HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar leadership role
- Union workforce experience is required and non-negotiable
- Strong employee relations and labor relations experience
- Proven ability to support multiple operational locations and business leaders
- Hybrid role must be located within 30-40 minutes of Atlanta
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, transportation, airport operations, food service, retail, logistics, manufacturing, or similarly complex workforce environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of employment law, labor relations, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills
