Bartender

Location: 1753 Robert St South West, Saint Paul, MN, 55118 Job Description As an Applebee's Bartender, you will be mixing outstanding alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages to help servers deliver the best drinks possible. You need to be friendly to both staff and customers, make drinks to established standards, and create a great bar experience while enjoying a fun and flexible work environment. Responsibilities Mix alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to established standards. Serve drinks to servers and customers, providing a friendly and professional bar experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the shift. Collaborate with crew members to support service and create a positive atmosphere. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old (per state law). Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with staff and guests. Commitment to delivering a high‑quality service experience. Ability to stand for long periods (up to four hours) and move efficiently around the bar and service areas. Compensation & Benefits Applebee's bartenders start at minimum wage plus the opportunity to earn tips. Additional benefits include flexible work schedules, daily pay options (not available in California), healthcare benefits, and meal discounts. A clear career path is also available. Physical Standards Remain stationary and perform well‑paced mobility for long periods of up to four (4) hours. Safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen (approximately 30 times per shift). Speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff. Wear protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and wash hands with disinfecting soap regularly throughout the shift.
