Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients following established protocols and safety standards. This position requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, assessing and monitoring their conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine effective care pathways and plan for discharge.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation using electronic health records.
• Respond to emergency situations swiftly and calmly, utilizing best practices and established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC.
• 1-2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
