Store Manager

As a SONIC Drive‑In restaurant Store Manager, you lead crews, oversee operations, and ensure that food is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner while providing an excellent customer experience. Store Manager Responsibilities Manage, train, monitor, and coach crew, team members, carhops, and skating carhops. Direct and assign drive‑in restaurant employees to meet operational standards. Ensure employee compliance with the drive‑in employee handbook, policies, and practices. Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties. Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed. Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels; place orders for food, paper, and supplies within cost‑control procedures. Complete and maintain all restaurant employment‑related records and payroll records. Reinforce a customer‑service mentality and ensure all employees focus on serving customers. Resolve guest requests promptly and report complaints to the supervisor. Interview and hire crew and management team members to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to address unfavorable financial or sales trends. Develop and implement a marketing plan. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred. Minimum two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred); experience running shifts independently. Must work a minimum 5‑day workweek with 3 closing shifts, including irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices. Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations. Leadership and supervisory skills; effective verbal and written communication. Basic accounting and computer skills. Ability to follow directions and work autonomously; multi‑tasking and problem‑solving skills. Conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities.
