Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a general medical and surgical unit, handling a diverse range of patients with various chronic and acute conditions. The position operates in an acute care setting with a focus on medical surgical nursing.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide general medical surgical nursing care
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Communicate effectively with inter-professional teams
• Utilize electronic health records and IV pumps
• Manage wound care, heparin and insulin drips, and IV therapy
• Operate feeding pumps, tubes, and chest tubes

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary settings
• At least 1 year of Med Surg experience in a large hospital (600+ beds)
• IN State or compact RN license (as of 7/1/20)
• BLS certification through AHA
