Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Utilize the Epic electronic health record system
• Operate medical equipment including IV pumps and wound vacs
• Manage and administer medication drips such as heparin and insulin
• Float to other medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care
• At least 1 year of experience in a large hospital (600+ beds)
• Active BLS certification through AHA
• Valid Indiana or compact RN license
