Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm


Seven Healthcare are seeking a MedSurg RN for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves providing comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care in an acute care setting. Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment that utilizes Epic charting and advanced medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Conduct assessments and create care plans
• Engage in inter-professional communication
• Utilize the EHR, including Epic systems for charting
• Manage IV therapy and medication drips such as heparin and insulin
• Use wound vacs, feeding pumps, feeding tubes, and chest tubes

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• IN State RN license or compact RN license (as of 7/1/20)
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of MedSurg experience at a large hospital (600+ beds)
