Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating schedule, including one weekend on call and an additional night on call each week

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation abilities
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering expert care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Continuously monitoring patient vital signs and responses to anesthesia
• Administering medications and pain management interventions as needed
• Collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth and safe transitions from the OR
• Educating patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to facility protocols
