Heat Treat Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Heat Treat department supporting the production of high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HT1 (Heat Treat Operator 1)

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay Range: $19.25 per hour
Shift : 5:30am-2:00pm /Mon-Fri

What's the Job?

• Start up from cold Endogenerator #1&2 and Box Furnace #4&5.
• Load parts in an assigned furnace, using proper heat treat fixtures such as baskets and screens.
• Conduct hardness tests after quenching and tempering, ensuring the right belt speed and oil levels in quenching tanks.
• Provide proper Nitrogen purge to box furnaces #4&5 and control the condition of elevators.
• Fill out production logs with accurate information and maintain a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience operating a furnace in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work packets.
• Mathematical aptitude to perform basic calculations.
• Strong communication skills to comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
