Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Hendersonville, NC. The position operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist. 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred). Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation; willingness to travel to additional sites when needed.
