Job Title: Data Governance Manager - Transportation / ITS Data14+ yrs Exp

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Experience developing data frameworks and policies, including defining and implementing data governance roadmaps, managing the data lifecycle for real-time streaming data, and establishing standards for data creation, ingestion, storage, retention, and disposal.
• Experience establishing data quality processes and metrics, developing comprehensive data catalogs and business glossaries, and implementing standards to ensure compliance with Federal and New York State (NYS) transportation data standards.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders, establishing and leading cross-functional Data Stewardship Committees, and developing data-sharing agreements.
• Experience working with transportation-specific data formats and standards, including SAE J2735 for connected vehicles, General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS), and Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDx).
• Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) architecture, Traffic Management Centers (TMCs), Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), and emerging Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) data.
• Experience in team management and functional supervision.
• Must hold one of the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Information Technology, or Civil Engineering with a transportation focus.
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
