Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Adult)
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) primarily focused on adult patients, with occasional pediatric care. This position offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure!
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care for both adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit.
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
- Collaborate with a talented team of healthcare professionals to address the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions while ensuring holistic care that meets patients' physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
- Accountable to the Unit Director, while working closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required.
- Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
- Current RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state RN licensure.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
- ACLS certification is also required.
Work Schedule
This position requires a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, with coverage for every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Candidates are responsible for securing their own housing, and reliable personal transportation is essential due to the lack of public transportation services in the area. It is recommended to arrange housing in advance and bring a vehicle for your stay.
To ensure a smooth onboarding process, all required credentials must be uploaded five business days before the start date.
