Tax ManagerLocation: Fort Myers, FL (On-site) Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000Position OverviewThis full-service tax, accounting, and consulting firm seeks a Tax Manager to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, high-net-worth clients, and businesses. The role combines technical tax expertise with client advisory services and team collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (individual, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, trust, and estate)Manage multiple tax engagements while meeting deadlines and client expectationsProvide tax planning, research, and advisory servicesIdentify tax-saving opportunities and develop client-specific strategiesSupport clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authoritiesBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsCollaborate with accounting and advisory team membersStay current on tax law changes at all levelsMentor junior and staff-level tax professionalsRequired Qualifications3–7 years of public accounting or tax experienceStrong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returnsExpertise in corporate and partnership tax preparationKnowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individual taxationUnderstanding of federal, state, and local tax regulationsCPA certification preferred; CPA eligibility acceptableStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and organizational abilityAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCompensation & BenefitsDiscretionary bonus opportunityPTO, sick time, and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife and disability insuranceCareer growth opportunitiesCollaborative, supportive work environment
