job summary:
Join an employee owned aerospace company in an exciting time of growth as a Quality Engineer in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality and customer standards and that defects are investigated and corrected. This is a direct hire role with the opportunity to grow.

responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with AS9100 and internal operating procedures
• Develop lean-focused quality procedures, testing methods, and inspection standards
• Lead root-cause investigations and resolve CARs, NCRs, and non-conformances
• Perform internal/external audits and drive findings to resolution
• Review engineering changes, manufacturing planning, and purchase orders for quality requirements

qualifications:
Quality experience in a ISO 9100 manufacturing environment

Experience using a QMS
