OSHA Compliance Consultant

Location: Saddle Brook, NJ (On-site)

Daily & (hour by hour) Floor Monitoring & Compliance Enforcement

Conduct routine walk-throughs of the warehouse and production areas.

Ensure OSHA/EHS rules set by the OSHA/ESH consultants are followed.

Correct basic safety issues such as blocked egress, unsafe stacking, missing PPE.

Remind employees of safety rules and escalate repeat violations.

Support Implementation of Consultants Corrective Actions

Execute corrective action recommended by consultants.

Track progress using task lists and evidence documentation.

Help install posters, signs, labels, and safety notifications.

Provide closure evidence to Compliance Office.

Forklift & Material Handling Support

Guide forklift drivers and clear pathways.

Monitor safe forklift operation practices.

Prevent blocking of exits, panels, and fire safety equipment.

Report unsafe forklift behavior.

Oversight of Deliveries, Loading, and Receiving

Ensure vendors follow PPE and safety protocols.

Monitor proper dock positioning and engine-off rules.

Prevent blocking of emergency pathways.

Document and report violations.

Hazard Reporting & Issue Escalation

Identify electrical, mechanical, and environmental hazards.

Document near-misses and coordinate investigations.

Maintain hazard logs for follow-up.

Escalate urgent issues immediately.

Support to Training & Safety Programs

Assist in safety trainings and drills.

Prepare materials and track attendance.

Support new hire onboarding safety orientations.
