Industrial Maintenance TechnicianHiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry in Granite City, IL!Salary: $31.04 – $39.81/hour, depending on experience + company-paid benefits for employee and familyShift: Union environment – set schedule, but must be open to starting on any shiftLocation: Granite City, ILJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and mechanical maintenance on facility and production equipment to reduce downtime and support operational efficiencyTroubleshoot and repair a wide range of industrial systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase motors, and variable speed drivesRead and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical manualsIdentify and resolve issues using electrical test equipment and PLC troubleshooting techniquesModify, install, and fabricate systems and components based on production needsRebuild or replace worn or defective mechanical and electrical componentsCommunicate clearly across shifts and with maintenance leadership to ensure continuity of workSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and housekeepingMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environmentEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial settingStrong industrial electrical knowledge, including experience with heavy wiring and 3-phase systemsProficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, motors, drives, and mechanical systemsComfortable working with forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoistsAbility to read schematics and technical documentation accuratelySkilled in using test equipment for diagnostics and repairSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamComputer literate, with familiarity in Windows-based systemsEagerness to learn new technologies and processesIf you are interested, please apply.
