Host Position

The Host serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests in our dining areas. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting smooth dining room operations. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and attentive to detail, with a strong commitment to exceptional member service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
• Managing dining reservations and waitlists using the club's reservation system
• Coordinating seating to ensure optimal flow and member satisfaction
• Communicating effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
• Maintaining an organized host stand and entrance area
• Upholding club standards of etiquette, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Assisting with special events, private functions, and member requests
• Addressing member concerns politely and escalating issues to management when needed

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills include:

• Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or fine dining preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of reservation systems a plus
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical and work requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
